Kenneth Wolstenpeep
For over 20 years feared tyrant Wolstenpeep attempted to subvert the conception of sports in the minds of the innocent. His non-stop, ill-informed drivel was designed to taint fans view of the outcome of sporting fixtures, notably football. Some believe that there was no malice in his actions, that he simply had no idea what he was doing. Most are convinced that he longed to destroy sport, and sought to do so from inside the commentary box, driving people away with his biased, venomous tirades.

Wolstenpeep found his crowning moment of glory during a pivotal moment in the '66 world cup final. Purposefully flubbing his line at a key moment, he destroyed the memory of the event for all who witnessed it. The line he uttered was so inept that it is now intolerable for any sane person to re-watch the footage even with the commentary turned off.

Kenneth Wolstenholme was a respected football commentator at the BBC for over 20 years. His most memorable words came during the 1966 world cup final between England and Germany. Towards the end of the match a small number of fans invaded the pitch just as the final goal was scored by Geoff Hurst bringing the score to 4-2 to England. His live commentary is now an immortal part of English sports history. "Some people are on the pitch... they think it's all over... it is now!"
