After being mercilessly bullied by his peers, Lawrence Cohen regresses into an imaginary world in which he believes himself to be a feared pirate named Two-eyes Jeff. Aided by his 6 foot 8 inch friend, who he becomes convinced is Superman, Cohen is under the delusion that he is invincible. Cohen boldly issues a challenge to all other pirates to attempt to steal the map he has that leads to his own treasure horde. Although his psychosis was widely recognised by locals, things take a sinister turn when his challenge is accepted by a group of Somali pirates named the Fratellaabes, who quickly discover that all Cohen really possesses is a grease stained fragment of pizza box.
Cohen was last seen alive by an attendant at an automotive service centre on the outskirts of Astoria, as the vehicle in which Cohen was a passenger waited at a red light. The attendant claimed Cohen appeared cheerfully optimistic. It's likely he didn't fully understand what was happening.
