The success of the Albus Dumbledore series of films lead inevitably to a host of tie-in merchandise items. The most cynically commercial of which was a set of poorly written picture books.
The story arc is based around the power struggle between two evil wizards. We see the lives of countless innocents ruined as the pair attempt to manipulate their way to some unnamed goal. Although they both appear to strive with zealous veracity for some sort of position of power, the nature of which is never fully revealed, ultimately neither is able to establish a sustainable management model.

Dumbledore is the headmaster of Hogwarts magical school in the Harry Potter series of books. Although in reality the films are based on the books, Dumbledore really does rely on convincing children to risk their lives to resolve most of his major problems.
